Arizona

After Family pictures were over I stayed in Utah to go with everyone to Arizona for a Wedding while Allen came home to go back to work. I was sad that he didn't get to go with us. The drive was not horrible but pretty close. IT took us over 12 hrs because we stopped a few times so the girls could run and play. 4 little girls in a car says it all, right!!!!

 We made it to Phoenix and were very happy we didn't have to stay in a hotel. We stayed at Allen's sister's house. They have a pool and live right on the golf course.  It was GREAT!!

Livi loved the water so much and never wanted to get out of it! The pool kept us cool while we were there!!! (there is such a thing as to hot)

My Cousin James got home from his mission in January and married his sweetheart June 1st in the Mesa Temple. Good Day but TOO HOT!!!! We were finding shade wherever we could so that we would stop sweating.

Gammy & Pops House

We scheduled family pictures on the 25th, so we headed down a few days early to visit My parents who just recently moved to Utah. It is still weird to think they live in Utah and I wont be going back to New Mexico any time soon. I get sad but then I remember I only have to drive 2 hours and we're there. I'll take that over 9hrs!!!

We played in the yard, pulled weeds, gammy made us a smoothie every morning, and played with cousins every day. I miss living close to my family. Maybe one day I can convince Allen to move to were they are...it's still in Utah it probably wont happen....one day!

Family pictures went well...I just hate getting ready for them and all the stress that comes with it and then for them to be over in 30 min seems like I got worked up for nothing.

Grandma Adams Birthday Weekend

We headed down to Gooding for the weekend to Celebrate Grandma Adams 85th birthday. It's been a rough couple of years for Allen Grandparents. Their health is failing them and are not independent anymore, so Sandra has been taking on the load. I really have seen her age over this last year. This is life and what happens and I just hope my girls will serve me with love when I get old as Sandra does with her parents.

To end our visit Toby Jumped up on Addie and she hit the corner of the porch. It must have broke a blood vessel because she got a black and blue goose egg on her forehead. A few days later swelling went down and she started getting black and blue.

Olivia @ 13 Months

Wow, in just a month Livi is doing so many new things....she has found her freedom!!!

 Oh boy we found the movies, just like Addie did. They have been moved because I'm not going to pick they up every few hours!!

 She loves being able to get things that she she wants. She has been full of smiles all week.

 She is finding all kinds of places and things to get into!! She is sure a fast little crawler.

 Right at 13 months she decided to start standing in her bed. That has been fun!

 Livi is finding that she can play with Addie a bit and it's fun to do what big people do.

 She is still loving water and now that she can get around a bit makes it more fun to splash around.

She is loving finding necklaces and putting them on like Addie. She sometimes gets her feet stuck in them and can't go anymore. Crawling is proved to be the way to go for this girl. It took her long enough to get up on her knee's actually crawl, but now she is and loving it.

I thought this day was still months away but it crept up on me. Livi is such a joy. She want's to do everything her big sister does. 

We finally tried putting her hair up with ribbons because she was starting to not like her headbands. They were to fun to pull off and watch mommy's reaction. 

Livi is crawling in very un traditional ways, but she's getting around, and I can tell here really soon she's going to crawl. I'm not in any hurry because then that will mean my baby is all grown up. Bitter sweet, right!!

She is now drinking out of a sippy cup. She wanted to be like her sister again so I took the opportunity to get rid of the bottle...even though she only had it for just over a month...I'm glad to have it gone!

I'm getting a few smiles from her but she is turning out to be just like Addie...pulling teeth to get a look and a smile.

I still use her bumbo as a chair so she can sit with me while I'm doing something. I think we may but it up soon though.

She loves balls and babies. She can say both of those words.

Livi draws on her sisters chalkboard and think continues to eat the chalk. I tell her yucky!!, then she puts it down.

We have a little love bug on our hands. She loves to give loves and can cuddle when she's in the mood.

The things we do on rainy days...

Well today, march 20th, the first day of spring, we stayed inside and watched the rain among other fun girly things!!! I think its safe to say that we are ready for the warm weather to come and stay.
For easter i got the girls matching suits. Of course we had to try them on...perfect fit.
I love that my girls have their own unique features and looks but that you can see that they're sisters. This picture explains their personalities perfectly!!

Livi @ 11 Months

Well LIVI, what a cutie you are and charming with that little face of yours but don't be fooled everyone..this is why we call her the Livi MONSTER...but she sure brings us a lot of joy!

(she's grown a little since 9 months)

Well, its official, Livi isn't nursing anymore.  I've made it a whole month with her biting me on and off and.... I'M DONE WITH THAT!!! I don't get a change to heal before she has a change to bite me again. (not to mention it is really sore and then when she eats it's like starting nursing all over again). We've had a good run but it's time to move on and your not that happy but this momma is. LOVE YOU LIVI MONSTER. (and the doctor said we needed to get some weight on you so here's to formula for a month)

 

Livi is just learning to give kisses. She doesn't keep her mouth wide open like Addie did... 

 

Livi isn't crawling yet. She can pull herself up on her crib after a few tries, and scoots backwards a little. She's been one of those instant rollers. I know she's thinking, "mommy you know if you put me on my back, I'm just going to roll over as fast as I can". What a turkey!!! 

 

I tried to pull her hair back in a little ponytail and well I think we'll wait for a bit more hair. It's kinda cute though but when she moves the little piece of hair that is holding the clip seem like it's going to break off even. 

 

We are so ready for spring as you can probably tell. We play in our room, trying on cloths that we should be able to wear in a month or two. We found one we can wear now! Addie is also teaching Livi well to make messes and she is loving every minute of it.

What else have we been up to:

I cut her off on her 5am feeding (with the no nursing thing), which she would go back to sleep until 8, but enough is enough. (one day she can tell sister how hard she had it and there will be now sympathy because Addie rarely got to wake up at 5 and eat!!)

Since around valentines day she has been trying to cut her 4 top teeth. The outer right popped through first and the other outside one is trying to pop through now. The fronts are so swollen, I hope they pop through soon. (it actually happened 1 1/2 months later :()

She can say Ba (ball). She makes to same sound as Addie for a drink, uh uh uh, and she is trying to fold her arms for prayers (she puts her hand interlocked together and hold them by her chest). At this rate she may just talk as good as Addie soon. She sure mimics her (I wish she was talking more).

 I really don't put shoes on my girls because I get to stressed out when they loose one and I have to try to find it. Boots aren't to bad, and she can almost get tennie's off by herself. It does keep her entertained in the car for a while.

 Well this little stinker can get on her knees and just sit there. She is a bit of a suborn child so my guesses as to when she will crawl is unforeseen. May be a week, a month or two!!!

Church is becoming a challenge. This little wiggle worm wears mommy out, so we trade off the first hour, then daddy takes her the second hour because he can't handle her the last one when she is really tired and grumpy!!! 

Mommy needs to work on these post in the present so she can remember more things. At least I got a post out. Now to work on 1 year!!!
