Kami's Wedding

I am so grateful that Heavenly Father never leaves us. Even when bad things happen, he is always guiding our path if we but stay faithful. Kami went through a horrible divorce where her husband broke his vows and strayed away from values they chose to live together. They have a child so no seeing him after was out of the question. He was hateful and mean. It tore Kami up inside having to send her precious girl to be with her father where there were no standards and morals. Three years have passed since then and she has met the most amazing man who wants to be her's. What an emotional expereince to be able to attend and share in their happy day.
Kami and I have always been special friends...I love her and am so happy that she is started her happily ever after!!!

It was really nice to spend some time with my Momma. It was a pretty day and I always love spending time on the Temple grounds. I have to say this was one of the nicest experiences at a wedding. The workers in the temple didn't rush us, or were never short with us. They let us stay in the temple and look at things and enjoy the moments.I will always recommend to someone to be married in the Manti Temple.

Arizona

After Family pictures were over I stayed in Utah to go with everyone to Arizona for a Wedding while Allen came home to go back to work. I was sad that he didn't get to go with us. The drive was not horrible but pretty close. IT took us over 12 hrs because we stopped a few times so the girls could run and play. 4 little girls in a car says it all, right!!!!
We made it to Phoenix and were very happy we didn't have to stay in a hotel. We stayed at Allen's sister's house. They have a pool and live right on the golf course.  It was GREAT!!

Livi loved the water so much and never wanted to get out of it! The pool kept us cool while we were there!!! (there is such a thing as to hot)

My Cousin James got home from his mission in January and married his sweetheart June 1st in the Mesa Temple. Good Day but TOO HOT!!!! We were finding shade wherever we could so that we would stop sweating.

Blakes Wedding

I sure didn't do a very good job at getting pictures of this event.  The only reason we got a family picture is because I insisted on it and it almost didn't even happen then.

I have no pictures of the bride and groom, my family or anyone at the temple.  Somebody fire me now.  I know what it was.  I had a baby and a 2 year old.  That's my excuse for SLACKING!!

It was a pleasant day.  I fed Livi on the way to the temple, we got there andI handed the girls off to Kallie, Natalie, Mckenna, and Isabelle hoping everything would be fine, and Allen and I headed into the Temple.  Salt Lake has one of the largest waiting rooms, but with over 100 wedding that day I had a feeling it wasn't going to big enough. (we first heard it was 91 then 98 then 102 and I think the last # we heard that day from workers was 104) Crazy if you ask me!!!  The Sealer was a bit long winded and basically told the love story of Isaac and Rebekah.  You could see the happiness on Blake and Misha face.  I wish them the best.  Our girls were in good hands even though there were a million people everywhere, we decided to go outside in the shade to see if was any cooler. (it wasn't but I didn't feel so claustrophobic)  .  While we waited for for the newly married pair to come out of the temple, the children started to get ancy.  We stayed long enough to get a group shot and a family shot.  Things sure roll out different when you have children.  Looking back I would have tried to stay a bit longer.  They were already upset, and I don't like to be the first ones to leave something...I don't know why, but I never have. Oh Well...!!!

Here are a few of the pictures that I did get.

The next day we went to breakfast at the hotel, went swimming and enjoyed the afternoon at the zoo.  If you ask me it was genius the way the day played out.  They slept almost the whole way home.  Allen and I actually got to talk and enjoy a ride in the car considering all the car rides we've been on in the last 3 months. (too many)

Oh ya I forgot to mention, WE feel pretty proud of ourselves that we found Blake and Misha's car after they vauled it and thought it was safe.  Ha Ha  Todd was the crude one!!!!

Addison Meets Nanny and Papa (my moms parents)

We went to Utah for the weekend to visit with Nanny and Papa(grandparents). Sorry no pictures with papa...maybe next time.  They were watching the brown kids while Daphne (my aunt) and Mike were gone for a conference.Sorry the pictures were few and far between, but we got a few cute ones.

Sarah (Daphne's youngest) took such good care of Addison, we didn't want to leave her.....WE MISS HER ALREADY!!!!!  We also had some family pictures taken.  It wore Allen and Addie out.I will definitely post the family ones once I get them.
