Livi @ 10 months

Livi, your personality is really shinning through this month.

You are a very happy and friendly baby. You are not shy like your sister was at this age.

You eat everything you can get your hands on. The only things I really havent given you yet are honey and peanuts. You love chicken and green beans.  Mommy's Veggie Pasta is becoming your favorite though. Sometimes I wonder if you will ever get full. Grandma Strickland calls you a bottomless pit. (you're a skinny minny with a cute little round tummy).

What has Livi been up too:
One thing though, when 10 months hit you became really clingy. I thought we were going to bet past this little stage of development...Mommy still walks out of the room even though you don't like it. I'm hoping this stage passes soon and doesn't linger a year like it did for your sister.

You love to sit on the counter and watch mommy do things. I know you still sit in your bumbo but it works really good for us.
Livi is trying to stand up on things all the time. She see's her big sister doing fun things and she wants to do them to. You almost have it but still need a little help pulling yourself up on the tall things.
                                            Happy Valentines Day!!!!
You are sleeping pretty good, but for some reason can't sleep in the same room as mom and dad. You hear us and that's it no more sleeping, which I can't understand since you slept in our room the first 3 months of your life. Definitely a light sleeper like your daddy!  So from now on when we go somewhere Addie is sleeping in our room with us and not you.
Olivia, you want to crawl but you're not quite there yet. You go from a sitting position and fall forward on your tummy and rock back and forth for a minute then plop down. Scooting backward is starting to come now too.
Where has mommy's baby gone??? You are getting to be quite the toddler now...it makes mommy so excited to see you getting big.

Addison at 2 1/2 Years

Weight:  25 pounds
Height:  34 inches
Head:   18.5

Whenever I look into those big blue eyes I just can't help but think how lucky I am that your my little girl.  Heavenly father sure sent me a special gift and I sure don't want to let him down.  You are becoming quite the little lady...I think the pictures below can kind of explain just how much fun we have around here.  You're a pretty good helper and sister to Livi.  She sure loves to watch and do what your doing.  Your a good helper and most of the time a really good listener, Mommy sure loves you...

Addi saw me picking something out of Maggie's hair the other day so she decided to copy me. Just another indication I am always being watched (so tow the mark momma)!

I'm already to go to town mom!  Granted it's snowing outside and almost dark, but she's ready...
Getting the darn curlers in I tell you is a chore, but then life is good.  She sleeps in them really good!
She's thinking, "mom please not another picture with Livi...we have enough!"
All her babies and toys are so loved.

Sometimes she just wants to do what Livi is doing because it looks so fun.
What can I say,  Your mommy and daddy sure love you and are so happy that you are growing, learning new things and developing that FULL personality you have.

Halloween 2012

Halloween this year was a bit harder than I thought it was going to be.  Allen had to end up working late so I ventured out by myself and the girl.  We went to the bank where Allen's sister works and trick or treated there...which I hope to do that every year...so easy and warm. (this year didn't matter for the warm part...it was 65 degrees until the sun went down, crazy)  Then headed over to the neighborhood trunk and treat to say hi to everyone!!!

She got to where she new what to do if now one was by the bucket...help herself of course, but I had to watch her to make sure she only took one or Two!!!
Addie was running to every bucket of candy.
Livi was tuckered out and fell asleep on the way home.
This is a rare picture because Addison never likes to take pictures.  She actually looks like she's enjoying herself.  This is a treasure for me.

Labor Day

Labor day was great this year.  All the peaches were ready to can, so we headed to Gooding to visit.  The weather was really nice and the wind hardly blew.  We put away 100 quarts and 50 pints of peaches in one day.  I was pretty proud of ourselves. We went boating, had a picnic and enjoyed the day.

Blakes Wedding

I sure didn't do a very good job at getting pictures of this event.  The only reason we got a family picture is because I insisted on it and it almost didn't even happen then.

I have no pictures of the bride and groom, my family or anyone at the temple.  Somebody fire me now.  I know what it was.  I had a baby and a 2 year old.  That's my excuse for SLACKING!!

It was a pleasant day.  I fed Livi on the way to the temple, we got there andI handed the girls off to Kallie, Natalie, Mckenna, and Isabelle hoping everything would be fine, and Allen and I headed into the Temple.  Salt Lake has one of the largest waiting rooms, but with over 100 wedding that day I had a feeling it wasn't going to big enough. (we first heard it was 91 then 98 then 102 and I think the last # we heard that day from workers was 104) Crazy if you ask me!!!  The Sealer was a bit long winded and basically told the love story of Isaac and Rebekah.  You could see the happiness on Blake and Misha face.  I wish them the best.  Our girls were in good hands even though there were a million people everywhere, we decided to go outside in the shade to see if was any cooler. (it wasn't but I didn't feel so claustrophobic)  .  While we waited for for the newly married pair to come out of the temple, the children started to get ancy.  We stayed long enough to get a group shot and a family shot.  Things sure roll out different when you have children.  Looking back I would have tried to stay a bit longer.  They were already upset, and I don't like to be the first ones to leave something...I don't know why, but I never have. Oh Well...!!!

Here are a few of the pictures that I did get.

The next day we went to breakfast at the hotel, went swimming and enjoyed the afternoon at the zoo.  If you ask me it was genius the way the day played out.  They slept almost the whole way home.  Allen and I actually got to talk and enjoy a ride in the car considering all the car rides we've been on in the last 3 months. (too many)

Oh ya I forgot to mention, WE feel pretty proud of ourselves that we found Blake and Misha's car after they vauled it and thought it was safe.  Ha Ha  Todd was the crude one!!!!
