Labor Day

Labor day was great this year.  All the peaches were ready to can, so we headed to Gooding to visit.  The weather was really nice and the wind hardly blew.  We put away 100 quarts and 50 pints of peaches in one day.  I was pretty proud of ourselves. We went boating, had a picnic and enjoyed the day. 

Olivia's Big Weekend (Blessing)

It seem like we just did a weekend like this, but it was almost 2 years ago when we blessed Addison.  Well it was Olivia's turn and we could have any less fun!!  My family came up, we went on the boat, sat around and caught up, blessed the baby on Sunday, and had a family dinner Sunday Afternoon.  It was a very enjoyable Weekend.......

A few things that I remeber most from Olivia's blessing were,
Allen told her she was blessed to have a strong spirit and people would be drawn to her, and that she would be an example to those people. He blessed her that if she would stay strong in the gospel and follow that strong spirit that heavenly father blessed her with, she would have many blessing throughout her life. He admonished her to always remember those gifts and be an example no matter the circumstances.
I am so thankful for a right priesthood holder that can bless our children by the spirit.  Later on that day I asked if he remembered what he had said in the blessing and he said not really, that the spirit was the one doing the talking, and I needed to inform him so I did.  I know Olivia is strong and she will bless a lot of people in her lifetime.  .

 

Boat Ride

It was a beautiful day, but Allen had to work, so when he was done he rushed home and we headed to the reservoir for an evening boat ride.  We had a great time.  We strapped Addison in and took off.  We wanted to make sure that Maggie wouldn't jump in so Allen threw her right in....Well she can puppy paddle pretty good!!

We had a busy Labor Day weekend.  

We went boating, blessed Addison and drove to Stanley, ID to enjoy a week vacation.   
      

BeAr LaKe

Today Addie is a month old.  The time has gone by now that I can look back.  I am feeling ten times better and the little lady is growing and developing quite a cure personality.  I love her to death and couldn't imagine our lives without her.

We ventured out this last weekend to Bear Lake.  I wasn't sure how I was going to do or how Addie was going to do away from home and on the boat.....WELL, now that were back I can say it was good to get away.  It was windy so the water was really choppy and there were a lot of cloud clusters so the sun would only show it's face sometimes, but it was still enjoyable.  I was really good to get away.  Traveling was pretty good for the most part, the little lady slept most of the time.  It was really good to be on the boat for the day, get some fresh air and be around activities.  I kept Addie covered with a blanket and she slept most of the day.  

It was worth venturing out!!!!

I wish I could take the blue water from bear lake and transplant it into American Falls reservoir.  Wishful thinking, I know!!!

This is Allen's first time in the water this year.....unheard of, but we've had a lot going on this summer!!!!!

He is a bit out of shape thanks to his wife that takes all his time.....he has less time to work out....and go wake boarding almost every night like he use to

We had some monkeys on the boat, don't worry Allen was right under them so they wouldn't fall.  

Addie was pretty tired when we got back.  Bree took really good care of her.  She wants to babysit so bad.  I told her in a few years...ha ha
